The Strawberry Bakehouse
Strawberry Bakehouse is the new name of the cafe formerly known as “The House of Brown Sugar”. But, don’t worry, the only thing that has changed is the name!
We still have the best coffee, food, baking and service around!
Our cafe only seats a lucky few, so get here early if you want a table – but don’t fret if not, as everything available to eat in is also available to take away. Ours were voted ‘best muffins in Nelson’ by the Nelson Mail for 2010... and our equally well made Allpress coffee and home style treats are all made with the same love and care that we put into our service.
Our all-day menu has breakfast and cafe-style favourites, all prepared with flavour and goodness in mind. You’ll find dishes such as the ‘hangover cure’ breakfast, through to seasonal salads and fish cakes!
Our food is also available to cater for your function, party or event. Enquire about the many options we have to make your event a deliciously memorable one!
At Strawberry Bakehouse, we take pride in creating healthy and tasty, good honest food with nothing artificial added.
